Hey there! Welcome to my blog. My name is Lauren, I'm 27 and based in the United Kingdom. I'm an outreach museum educator specializing in natural history, I also clean skulls and build skeletal articulations for myself, my work, or for friends.
I'm a huge fan of anything natural history, animals, and illustration. With a passion for building skeletons for educational, artistic, or scientific purposes.
I currently own and run the Skull Index, a collaborative project between various institutions and collectors alike, supplying skull images of many different species and crucial data to help everyone from researchers, collectors, and artists! The site will be live for public use in October 2023.

Museum Outreach
I do various outreach workshops on behalf of my work where I use my own skull collection & loan out replica skulls from the museum. Collaborating with academics and institutions from local schools, universities & natural heritage sites or making engaging educational talks for ages between ages 5 - 19 and parents alike!
In my free time, I love cleaning and building skeletons, both for my personal collection, facilities, and also for friends. I've recently started doing these on commission, please check out my work and services!
